Every Day Italian

I knew that looking back and all the times I had cried would one day make me laugh. What I didn't realize, was that looking back on all the times I laughed would one day make me cry.

Breathe

I return from Puerto Rico weeks ago, and it seems that I am just now able to catch my breath. I brought home a cold, had to study for some wicked tests, throw in work and some insomnia and you have the past few weeks.
My first weekend "free" and I decided to take a trip back to Mississippi. Came at a great time, I had something to celebrate. I PASSED MY BOARDS! I am a licensed pharmacist. Finally the years of studying, crying, losing sleep, and hardwok paid off. Who better to celebrate with than my support system throughout the years, my family. It was a great weekend. Quality time with the family, playing games, shopping, football, laughing. Good times. (Despite the blood clot in my leg from the hours of driving.) Long drive for a short visit, but well worth it.
A trip home does a world of good. Renews the soul. I realized although I wasn't really homesick before the trip, It is hard to leave the place and the people that I have felt comfortable with for many years. Very hard to say goodbye, as always.
I love Texas, and I plan on staying here a while. My future is here, but my family and my childhood are in Mississippi. For those that think that I am questioning the move here....sorry you can't get rid of me that easy (Brent).

On a side note....Anna Nalick...Breathe (2am)...great song.

Many hours in a car alone gives a girl lots of time to think, that could be trouble....stay tuned.
